    My thanks to the dore staff in Cardiff

     My son has been on the dore programme for a year now, the difference this has made has been amazing. Like so many of you, I am concerned that he will not be able to keep his appointment this week, but I would like to thank everyone who has made the effort to contact us to explain what is hapenning and how to move on with following the excersise programme on line for the time being. We will both miss the 1 to 1 contact at the centre, but we are determined to try and keep up the excersises and continue as best we can with the programme.

    However, my heart goes out to the staff at dore, I can't imagine how devestated they must all feel - Seth and I would like to say a huge thankyou for all you have done for him to date, and hope and pray that there will be some good news soon. Thankyou also to Wynford for all his efforts, I can only imagine how awful he must feel about all of this.

    There will always be those that are quick to offer judgement and condemnation. I know the value of this programme and I only have gratitude and admiration for the dore. I really hope it will be a case of 'all's well that ends well!'

    I agree with you that the staff are great and I am sure they will all do well as they are complete professionals. I do disagree with you and others when it comes to Wynford Dore and the other bosses. I hope they all feel bad, they have let down alot of kids. I am not quick to judge but this blame isn't down to Gordon Brown or the Sub Prime market. This is down to bad management. People don't feel sorry for the CEO of Northern Rock for trying his best, so why should people feel sorry for Wynford Dore.

    Feel sorry for the kids like my son Thomas, the hours that he has put into Dore trying to improve his life. Feel sorry for parents who have paid hard earned money to help their child. Feel sorry for the staff and feel sorry for the suppliers who may go unpaid. I don't care if Wynford Dore didn't recieve any salary, he started this and let us all down.

    Thomas's problems haven't gone away, but money put aside to help him has.

    Listen you're not the only family that has lost out financialy, we struggle to meet our commitment to enable our son to do this programme, but we made that commitment and have been proud and pleased with the results so far. Our son has also put in the hours to improve his life, and it is starting to pay, we are gutted with the situation, but I don't believe that Wynford Dore is to blame, I imagine he is just as unhappy as we all are about the whole thing. We may be the ones having to deal with the disappointment our children feel, but, I should think that Wynford Dore and the other bosses are more than concerned that they have let us down.

    I empathise with everyone that has found themselves out of work so suddenly, and financially so insecure, we have been there.

    If Wynford Dore hadn't started this as you put it, thousands of people wouldn't have benefitted at all!
