    Surprise [:O] New to site

Hi everyone I am new to the site and thought I would join after I heard the news. My son Joseph is 8 and has only been on the programme since the end of May '08 but we can see a difference in him already! His teacher called me in last week to tell me that she had also noticed a difference! His reading has improved dramatically as has his concentration. There are lots of little things that we have noticed too but most of all his self confidence is brilliant. We haven't seen any bad moods yet! Quite the opposite really! We are thrilled with the results so far and desperately want to carry on with it. As everyone knows the programme is not cheap and we did not enter into it lightly. It is a huge financial commitment for us (but it doesn't matter, as it seems to be working-I would pay even more if the results so far are anything to go by!) We paid for the initial assesment in full but then took out a 12 month agreement with Zebra finance for the rest. The first payment is due on June 1st. What do we do? How do we stand legally? I would rather carry on with the programme but if it is not possible, what do we do about the payments? I have no idea and wondered if anyone could help? Thanks mrspinky Mother to Joseph aged 8 started 30/04/08

    Hi Mrspinky,

I was in contact with Zebra earlier today, I put a message under practical advice if you want to have a read, in short they say hang on for couple weeks to see what's sorted as official line is that Advicers in not in liquidation yet etc. I think they're trying to be optomistic for now so case wait and see.

My advice would be to hang on. The programme is amazing and MyDore will help until things get more sorted. I am hopeful Wynford will find a solution.

Mary, you seem to have a lot of friends who "phoned you yesterday" to tell you about Dore closing. You have put the learning breakthrough link on here 6 times that I can find. Do you work for them by any chance? I think we get the message, but Dore is still here at the moment, let's not jump the gun.
