That is fantastic. Thank you so much for doing this Debbie - I would not know where to start.  I agree with everyone who has said that it is time to stand up and be counted. We are just 5 months into DORE with Sam, but we are watching the miracle live, day-to-day, as we all work through the exercises. Sam's self esteem, emotional control, sense of humour, awareness of the world around him, self awareness and responsibility, as well as his capabilities in all aspects of his life school work are growing all of the time, and at an ever increasing pace.

 Wynford and his family have given so much already, their own money, time and passion. DORE has hit hard times which as come as a shock to us all, but we are ready to be part of a support network, to work with Wynford and the DORE Team through this difficult time.

 I think that this petition is a great first step - Thank you again.

I agree with your sentiments Gldfinch and great Debbie the petition is the beginning of the campaign and hopefully there will be more suggestions and ideas coming up over the coming days and weeks. Ellie XXX

I agree that a petition would have its strengths...

but I am convinced that it is the power of the parent getting involved with more than the pen that will solve the dore crisis in the shorter & longer term.

We need clinics back up ASAP. If dore's collapse is financial - we need to play an active role in the financial solution.

The administrators are interested in recouping revenue - please see my POWER THOUGHT post on this forum.

We are all tied to every other person on the planet by 6 connections - we need to start thinking how we can make them work.
