Hi Shirley your post brought back a memory of Leila when she first started Dore, her intial assessment on eye tracking was all over the place as a matter of fact there was one examination they were unable to do because her eyes would not stay still long enough for them to get an accurate reading. the DR explained to me that many Dore children have difficluties with keeping their eyes focussed, unconciousy they are moving all the time.
I always wonder if this is to do with their retained baby reflexes, as they are also unable to focus. I had not noticed it in Leila myself before but then I had not been looking for it. Many of Dore's exercises are focussing on their eye tracking and I would say that with your son he is noticing it as the exercises work on those areas.
The eye exercises are making him focus on a certain thing in space and his eyes could be straining because they are not used to it get him to rest his eyes by closing them after for a few seconds. He should find that as the eyes become more stable and properly focussed then the feelings should go, Leila has no problem with her eyes now and is over 2 years post Dore. Hope this helps. Ellie XXX
